PC Maker CyberPowerPC announced on Monday the launch of a new esports masterclass series. The company said its latest plan will help young gamers and their parents understand more about the structure, potential opportunities and inherent challenges of the esports industry. The first masterclass focused on addressing misunderstandings and highlighting the importance of parental support, potential esports career choices, and ambitions to balance competitive ambitions with research. Meanwhile, the second session involved well-known esports players who provided candid advice to aspiring gamers.
CyberPowerPC says eSports Masterclass for young gamers, parents
CyberPowerPC said in a press release that it had two meetings in the ongoing esports masterclass series, located in Apecity, Navi Mumbai. So far, more than 30 parents and children have participated in these master classes. The first session was led by Vishal Parekh (COO, CyberPowerPC) as well as Yash Bhanushali and Jai Shah (co-founder, Apecity by Orangutan by Orangutan).
On the other hand, the second esports masterclass features Arman (Aaru) and Ankit Shukla (Akop), two popular esports athletes in India. These gamers talk frankly to young gamers about their experiences of coping with competitive pressures, setbacks, burnouts and censorship on social media.
According to CyberPowerPC, these esports masterclasses are designed to promote conversations between gamers and parents’ potential in esports, while promoting an encouraging environment for young esports players’ growth and addressing common misconceptions related to the industry.
The company said it will hold these meetings every Sunday at Apecity in Navi Mumbai and will also plan other efforts to promote the country’s acceptance of PC gaming and esports. Gamers and their parents can also sign up for these masterclasses through CyberPowerPC’s Instagram account (@cyberpowerpc.in) to learn more about these meetings.
