Infinix, a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings, is set to launch its first tablet, the Infinix Xpad, in India later this week. Scheduled for release on September 13, the tablet will be available through Flipkart. The Infinix Xpad, already launched in select global markets in August, is expected to feature an 11-inch Full HD+ display and quad speakers with DTS sound for an immersive audio experience.

The Infinix Xpad will sport a sleek design with a 7.6mm thin metal body and will come in three color options: Frost Blue, Stellar Grey, and Titan Gold. The tablet is confirmed to offer Wi-Fi + LTE 4G connectivity, making it versatile for users on the go. A 90Hz refresh rate and an 83% screen-to-body ratio ensure a smooth and expansive viewing experience.
The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, providing ample power for multitasking and storage needs. Running on Android 14, the Infinix Xpad includes the AI-powered Folax voice assistant with ChatGPT integration. It also features a 7,000mAh battery with 18W charging support, ensuring long-lasting usage.
Camera and Pricing
For photography, the Infinix Xpad is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Pricing details for India are yet to be revealed, but in Nigeria, the 4GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at 2,51,800 Naira (approx. Rs. 13,500), while the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant is priced at 2,83,800 Naira (approx. Rs. 15,000).
